2010 twelve inch vinyl EP from one of the most exciting modern Sludge/Doom bands going. Louisiana's Thou channels lifetimes of depression and decay on Baton Rouge, You Have Much to Answer For. With scathing commentary laid down by hateful blackened vocals, the band delivers some of the most crushing riffs in ages. Incredibly deep tones and bludgeoning drumming are combined with a surprising amount of melody, making for a powerfully heavy release. Two pummeling tracks over 15 minutes span the A-side, while the flip contains an instrumental drone piece along with a spectacular Nirvana cover that puts a completely crushing take on the Bleach-era tune "Sifting."
Tracks:
1.1 Out of the Mouth of a Fool
1.2 By Every Hand Betrayed
1.3 Drone
1.4 Sifting
