Stockholm trio Vero has been making waves over the past few years with their nineties-infused alt-pop, drawing attention from the likes of The Line of Best Fit and CLASH as well as being pointed out as one of the best performances at the virtual SXSW by Paste. After a few singles and a debut EP with Sony the band were in the process of completing the follow-up when they were suddenly dropped. Torn contract in hand, something new was born, and the band finished their new EP within a week that was released in 2020 by PNKSLM Recordings (ShitKid, Les Big Byrd, Cherry Pickles etc.).The trio experiment with genres and references, challenging the idea of what a modern band is supposed to be - this time with artistic freedom. These experiments have resulted in a forthcoming debut album, due for worldwide release in Spring 2022, but first comes a brand new 7' (limited to 200 copies) featuring new single 'BEG!' and a brilliant reimagining of Shame's "Concrete", two tracks showcasing the band's move into indie rock territory, while retaining their pop chops.
