Limited vinyl LP pressing including digital download. Motion Graphics is producer/musician Joe Williams. He recorded the album, Motion Graphics, in New York and Los Angeles over the course of the past two years. It draws inspiration from items not typically associated with music like Twitter feeds, the hum of a refrigerator, and menu systems on cars and video game consoles. A truly unique and ambitious body of work that showcases Williams' plunge into the world of electronic music, Motion Graphics is the first full-length album from Williams in nine years, having previously released the critically acclaimed Smoke LP under the name of White Williams. In the time between now and his last release, Williams has been collaborating with Baltimore artist Matt Papich on his Co La project, playing as a core member of the Lifted ensemble, and most recently, was the musical director of the feature-length documentary 12 O'Clock Boys where he composed and produced the score as well as compiled the soundtrack.
